AMMAN Eighteen COVID-19 deaths and 2,657 virus cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Tuesday, increasing the caseload to 352,219, the government announced.
The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported on Tuesday 446 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) during the last 24 hours, of which 408 were from community and 38 from travellers returning from abroad who are subject to quarantine.

Taking to its official Twitter account, the authority noted that the notice was issued as part of its daily field inspections.
Additionally, two outlets were fined and seven other establishments were given warnings for non-compliance with mandatory health and safety protocols.
Authorities in the emirate are stepping up their efforts to clamp down on violators of restrictions put in place to limit the spread of the ongoing pandemic.
